In our project called ‘Help! Our world needs a detox’, we aim to raise awareness, to solve problems, to think criticially and to be sensitive to environmental problems in our students about air,water and soil pollution caused by problems such as rapid population growth, industrialization, global warming and the destruction of our natural resources. We plan to use digitalization which is a necessity of our age in solving problems.

Hello everyone,
I am Hüseyin Aydoğdu and I have been working in Feriha and Ferhat Koyuncuoğlu Secondary School since 2016. I am an English teacher in my school, I love working with young learners because they are more eager about e-twinning projects.
Our project topic sounds really good when I first heard about it. Climate change is the most fundamental issue nowadays, so we have to take precautions with our students. Our project activities mainly focused on experiments and brainstorm activities in terms of air, water and soil (pollution). I hope this project will enlarge our idea of future for the next generations. Thanks to project founders for choosing such a sensitive topic for us.

The project presents an innovative approach for environmental issues and new perspectives for climate change. I liked the idea behind the activities because all the activities are easy to apply and students are eager to do the activities quickly. In all months, we worked with great devotion. Thanks to our founders, we achieved and applied many new web 2.0 tools and celebrated speacial days integrated to our project. In our mixed and common works, students realized the feeling of producing a work with other students which encourages them for using the target language. Thanks to all partners, students and founders.
