There are TREES growing in the neighborhood around around St. Paul’s! Not just deciduous trees, but also coniferous trees! Reporters were able to hear sparrows, and looking around to find them, spotted a small flock of pigeons on a rooftop. Shrubs and bushes are sleeping through the cold but will be growing in the spring. Local pine trees have dropped their pine cones in preparation for the upcoming spring, hoping to grow their numbers by having animals spread their seeds. Some deciduous trees even have red berries on them to spread their seeds by.


We can think about how we have GROWN throughout the changing seasons, both physically and personally. Students can even roleplay different roles in the interview process - someone interviewing, another being interviewed, and one ‘reporting’ and taking notes!

What is unpleasant? My feet are feeling a bit cold in my runners and it’s feeling a little unpleasant. The students might come upon an animal that is dead and find that to be unpleasant but part of the cycle of life.
