Didactics is a fundamental branch of educational science that focuses on the analysis and intervention in the teaching-learning process, with the main objective of facilitating and optimizing students' intellectual development.

This discipline studies the best strategies, methods, and techniques for effectively transmitting knowledge, ensuring that students not only receive information but also understand, assimilate, and can apply it in different contexts.

Furthermore, didactics can be understood as the pedagogical aspect that deals with the art of teaching. This involves not only the simple transfer of knowledge but also the ability to present and explain concepts in a clear and accessible way, adapting to the needs and characteristics of students.

In this sense, the educator plays an active role, designing and using teaching resources that facilitate meaningful learning and promote students' critical and creative development.

The principles of didactics are based on the approach to content or curriculum, methodology, the psychological problems students may have, and the results of their performance as a result of assessment. This allows for the formation of the fundamental elements governed by the practice-theory-practice cycle; where theory refers to the knowledge acquired during the teaching and learning process, and practice refers to the application of such acquired knowledge.
