The authors use of short and simple sentences helps show the excitment and how bo is a helpful and friendly.<br><br>"It looked like a little heart" pg 32. Parrett uses a metaphor to describe what the walnut looked like inside and is reflected in what Isla is viewing bo as, a father figure who cares for her</div>]]></description>
