The classrooms on the 3rd floor never are cleaned or swept, and it is frustrating. Trash is taken out, but if there happens to be some that didn't make it in the trashcan, it is left behind.

To hold admin and staff accountable.
The same way they want our response ASAP, especially when they throw thing out late and it is noticed, we expect a response (even an acknowledgment) of them getting our emails. Especially when it comes to our pay, people never seem to want to reply when it has to do with paying us or getting our stuff paid for.

Also a simple respect, a good morning good afternoon goes along way
That would set a different culture of wanting to be there.

More department based pds, less ambiguity with regard to guidelines for a number of issues (I realize this is not specific, but the list is too long).

A guide for everyone, but especially for new teachers. Teachers are lost from the profession and the school because 1. Starting the job is overwhelming esp when not knowing the rules 2. This is isolating 3. When you make errors and violate the unspoken rules, some people here are not kind. We are supposed to act a certain way for the student's mental well being but can't seem to remember that we should apply it to each other too

Purposeful scheduling - too many students are in classes they don't care about and have just been placed there to fill the gaps in their schedule. Juniors/seniors should be able to leave early for college classes or have study hall blocks if they are overwhelmed with AP classes
Balance extra curriculars and academics - students failing classes because they are doing leadership and sports and missing too many classes to catch up (if they aren't responsible enough to catch up on their own, they shouldn't be taking on too much)

- PDs being led by staff (versus admin) about the different strategies that are out there. PDs need to be worth our time and meaningful. It feels like we are going through the motions

- I feel like the admin still struggles with communicating not only to us as a staff but with each other. They need to be on the same page to make OUR day's easier.

- I feel like morale and community amongst staff could be stronger. We want to implement PBIS with the kids, but I feel like as teachers we could benefit from some kind of positive behavior incentives for us.
