Hi Megan,

I hope you are having a great weekend. I have a question that I would like to ask. As you know, the job market in Canada is in a terrible state right now. I am an international student, and I want to ask that in case we are unable to get a job before the winter term starts, can we drop out of the co-op program and enroll in the Winter term? If it is possible, when is the deadline to register for next semester, and how it will affect our visa and study permit as it has been extended till 2026 for our co-op.

Enrolling For Winter 2025

Just wondering if at the end of the semester, we still haven't found a coop placement. Are we able to transfer back into the 3rd year program and finish semester 6 in January 2025? Or do we need to wait until Jan 2026 to be able to finish our program?
