•Improve: What improvements do you need to work on? What skills have you used/learnt that you plan to apply into your work next session?

•Do:
The skills I have applied were to work independently to catch up with the work that I have missed on the day that I was not in college. The barriers were that I did not know what my production group had filmed on the day so I watched the  completed version when we were getting feed back. When watching the videos one of the things that we had found was that the sound was not clear because we did not us the shotgun mic or lapel mic. Also we got good recorded feed back by the tutor who said we had used good camera shots and editing skills. I am proud of the missed work that I have caught up with.  

•Show:
I showed the feed back on the iPad then I added a copy on to Showbie so the tutor could see and showed all the work that I have completed on Padlet.  

•Improve:
I need to improve on the group discussion about the editing before we do it. Also we had to improve on the sound on the video by using different sound equipment e.g. Shotgun mic or lapel mic. I have learnt to work better independently I will apply this to next sess    

•Do:
The new skills that I have learnt are to apply different camera shots to the video that are close up, over the shoulder and tract shot etc.. in the group we had do see if the filming went will or if we needed to retake the filming. Sometimes it was hard to film because some of the team where not in on the day that we where filming on so it made it hard to complete the work.We were able to complete the filming by having a LSP to help us also we got on well as a team and helped each other. All of the filming was saved on to hard drive and transferred to all of the group accounts. I am proud of the work that we had filmed and all of the team work.  

•Show:
I saved all the filming on to the hard drive so the tutor could see. Also we had to evidence the work that we had completed from the workshop on to showbie.     

•Improve
I would like to improve on my editing to added different effects to the video. I will apply what I have learnt this week of using different shots that I have developed this week. I will apply this to next session and in the future.   

•Do:
This week I learnt the different sounds used in the recording session for example non-diegetic sound and diegetic. Another thing I have learnt was what clapper boards and Tascams used for. I put the information on to a word document. We also had to do a  group meeting together then add the information on the computer about the locations. I learnt that it is good to communicate with each other to get all the teams input. I found it hard to remember the definitions of non-diegetic and diegetic so I will go back on the notes from the workshop. I am proud of the ideas that I have come up with in the production meeting.   

•Show:
I showed the work from the workshop on to word and put it on to Showbie so the tutor could see. The work that we completed was  put on to Padlet. 

•Improve:
The improvements I need to do are to do some more research and go back over the notes that I have made in the workshop to remember what the meanings are for non-diegetic and diegetic sounds. I will apply the skills I have learnt this week during the production meeting of communicating with the other members and giving my ideas. I will use this skill in future sessions.

•Do:
The new skills I have learnt are, how sound works and how it is required in the shot. Also we had to do a production meeting to see what the group wanted in the video and give feed back to the group.  

•Show:
I showed my work on paper and on the computer then I upload it to Showbie so the tutor could see.  

•Improve:
I will keep up with the proof reading and the spelling and all the skill that I have learnt in the work shop I will take over into the next session. 

Do:
The new skill I have learnt are how to be more confident when working with others and in an interview by showing positive body languages and eye contact. Also we had to do a mind map about the promotional campaign that we had to decide what we wanted in the video. I found it hard to put my ideas on to the mind map but I looked at the last video that we recently looked at and this helped me come up with ideas for my video mind map. I am proud of the work that I completed on the mind map and that I have learnt a new skill of setting up an LED light.   

Show:
I showed the mind map on paper then I took a photo of the work then posted it on to showbie so the tutor could see. 

Improve:
I will keep up with the deadlines and to keep proof reading my work for spelling and grammar. I have learnt how to work with new equipment and how to be in an interview I will use these skills in future sessions.  

•Do:
I had to find some apps that were called Speaker Studio, Garage Band, Voice Recorder and iMovie. Also I had to see how they worked and see what was good and bad about them, I put the information into a table. I had found some of the apps hard to use and I did not understand how they worked so I got some help on how to find the information that I needed. I was proud of the completed table and how it looked at the end of the session.     

•Show:
I showed the table of the advantages and disadvantages on word so I posted it on to showbie  

•Improve:
 I need to work on finding information need for the task on my own before asking for help. I will apply the skills of analysing apps in future sessions. 

•Do:
The new skills that I have learnt was to breakdown the video and take screenshots and to write about what was happening, music, age groups, how interesting the video was and the camera shots. I put the screenshots in to a word document and I had to analyse the screenshot. The new skills I had  learnt in the workshop was to use new equipment and to work with other people that was in my group. I found the work hard to breakdown the video and explain what was happening, I needed some support with the work. Also the workshop helped me understand all for the different camera angle like close up, long shots and over the shoulder. I am proud that I worked with other people even though that I was nervous to work with new people.

I showed the work on to showbie so the tutor could see the work.  

•Improve:
I will keep doing the workshops so I can expand my skills. Also I need to improve the detail when I am breaking down the videos. I will apply the skills that I have learnt e.g. track from left to right for a over the shoulder shot I will apply this skill to other sessions..
