Intrinsic Properties is a property than an object or a thing has of itself like density, For example, gold will have the same density no matter how big or small it is, it will always stay the same. An extrinsic property is a property that depends on a thing's relationship with other things. For example copper's mass will change as it gets bigger or smaller, it will not stay the same mass.

Then you have to find the mass of the graduated cylinder with a specific amount of the liquid in the graduated cylinder. Then you subtract the weight of the empty graduated cylinder from the weight of the graduated cylinder with a liquid in it. Then you found your Mass of the liquid.

When using your evaporating dish, do not use all of your powder because if it burns, you will have no more powder left, and you wont be able to identify the liquid. First you measure the weight of the evaporating dis in grams(g). Shake a solution with the powder, and put the liquid with an unidentified liquid into the evaporating dish. Heat it until all the liquid is gone and there is only powder left. Then you can weigh it and find out how much of the powder per 100ml.
