Hinduism is the most common religion in India but that is 79.8% of the population. The second most common religion is islam with 14.2%. Christianity is only 2.3%. Hindi is the main language in India 78% of Indian's talk hindi. 19.6% of indians talk dravidian languages. India shares borders with China, Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Myanmar. India has the Tropical monsoon due to it's peculiar position in the Asian continent and the indian ocean. The tropical monsoon is The national animal of India is the Bengal tiger. Christmas traditions: in India some people display small clay oil-burning lamps and decorate their homes with banana or mango leaves. The santa in India is known as christmas baba. If you want to tell somebody merry christmas in India you say natal mubarak. A popular breakfast in India on christmas is palapamm. Also known as appam, is a type of pancake.
