This is similar to the plane crash and the sudden separation from society that the boys experienced.

The reaper is a symbol of death and fear. Similar to the book, the littluns are terrified of a mythical "Beastie" that roams the island at night. The fear takes over the island as the older boys reassure that there is no Beastie.

He is lazy on his side of the relationship. Just like in chapter 3 of the book, Jack and company have been ignoring Ralph's instructions and do not help with building shelters. This frustrates Ralph because Jack and the boys are being lazy on their side of the relationship.

The narrator also talks about selfish ways developed from this "crime". In chapter 4, Jack and the hunters kill a pig. They cover themselves in blood and mud and walk off chanting while holding it's corpse. All aspects of civilized, innocent boys are gone. The loss of innocence is prominent in both the song, and the book.

The song uses the fish in ocean and water in a lake to represent people in a society, and they all want a break from control and obsession. Identical to chapter 5 of Lord of the Flies, Jack and almost all the boys on the island revolt. The chaos and disorder are all caused by them thinking Ralph is oppressive and they just want a break.

He floats off into space never to be seen again. In Chapter 6, the war rages above the island, but the boys never hear it for they are asleep. A parachutist's plane gets hit, killing him, and deploying his parachute. He floats down to the island never to be seen by his peers again. This crash landing situation is mirrored in both pieces.

It also describes fighting through dark times. Similar to chapter 7, the boys are on the way to the mountain. Many of the boys protest to stop and head home because its getting too dark. Jack says that he's going up anyway and you're a wimp if you don't. Simon and Ralph follow.

At this sight, Simon starts to feel dizzy, and the pig starts speaking. He says “There isn’t anyone to help you. Only me. And I’m the Beast. . . . Fancy thinking the Beast was something you could hunt and kill!”. The beast represents the fear and evil everyone has inside of them. To compare, Zombie is about evil and loss of innocence, similar to the Lord of the Flies.

A man saved his girlfriend from an abusive father, but he ended up killing the boyfriend. In chapter 9, Simon is murdered by the tribe of boys. He came running out of the woods, saying there is no beast, trying to help the group. They mistook him for the beast and killed him brutally. Different in stories, the image of death caused by "just trying to help" is mirrored.

He listens to the narrator tell him to "Know their roll" and "shoot and kill 'em all". Mirrored in chapter 10 of the book, Jack dictates over his tribe. They torture a kid, and listen to Jack with no question. They have become his own soldiers that do what he says with no question.

She takes over the world, one by one, until the entire world is hers. This is similar to Jack's rule that has been seen throughout the last part of the book. Jack continues to take more and more soldiers, like Sam and Eric. Sam and Eric were tortured until they joined Jack's tribe.

It also describes the chaos all of the world, symbolized through lightning. Finally, it says to 'Run", telling us to run from these horrible things and chaos. Identical to chapter 12, Ralph is being chased by Jack's tribe. Jack's tribe symbolized the taking over of evil and the chaos it brings.
