The two begin to bicker more and the narrator just starts to be quiet to not upset John.

This is one of the weirdest stories I have ever read. At first I thought it was just going to be about a husband and wife and the wife was sick but it turned out to be much more than that. The beginning starts out kind of slow just describing what is going on but then it gets deep very quickly. I personally had a hard time keeping track of the story once the wallpaper was a big part.
The narrator starts going crazy and she stares at this wallpaper all day and she can't help but bring it up constantly. Her husband is annoyed by this and I think I would be too. He tries to let it go and she eventually doesn't talk about it anymore but she still obsesses over it. To the point where she thinks someone comes out of it and then she starts tearing it off the wall. This story to me was very out there. I know people suffer from illnesses that make them go crazy but this to me seemed a little far fetched.
