In Africa you can see many different terrains in the videos they showed deserts, forests, mountains, the Savana, and many more. Africa has a lot of different species of animals, some are the biggest or fastest in the world. Unfortunately, a lot of the wildlife in Africa is on the border of extinction. In Africa, there are also many types of different foods which made me hungry for some. In Africa the most practiced religion is Islam, then Christianity, then some still follow their traditional faith, even some people don't believe in any god, and some even practice Judaism. In Africa, the arts flourish. There are so many different types of traditional dances and traditional clothing all over Africa. In the videos, I could see many statues and paints all over Africa. Some of the paintings and statues portrayed sad and hard times in African history. In one video a guy made a painting with sand. In some of the videos, they showed that Africa was still being colonized and abused for its abundance of natural resources for profit. These videos impacted my knowledge of Africa because I am able to see a first-hand account of Africa with all of the beautiful places, wildlife, delicious-looking food, and different tribes with different ways of life. Instead of what the media shows you. Africa is an extremely diverse continent and sometimes I forget how big it actually is.
