" 'I have written myself into better spirits, dear cousin ; but my anxiety returns upon me as I conclude. Write, dearest Victor, one line one word will be a blessing to us. Ten thousand thanks to Henry for his kindness, his affection, and his many letters : we are sincerely grateful. Adieu! my cousin; take care of yourself ; and, I entreat you, write !' "
Elizabeth is seen as a reliable narrator because she has a caring attitude. Her letters were full of news from home that delighted Victor so much that it and restored his health. Her omniscient perspective of their home life also. allows the reader to have a better understanding of the situational factors that entice Elizabeth to write to Victor.

"You have read this strange and terrific story, Margaret ; and do you not feel your blood congeal with horror, like that which even now curdles mine ? Sometimes, seized with sudden agony, he could not continue his tale ; at others, his voice broken, yet piercing, uttered with difficulty the words so replete with anguish; His fine and lovely eyes were now lighted up with indignation, now subdued to downcast sorrow, and quenched in infinite wretchedness."
The narration switches to Walton's perspective and reveals that he has retold Victor's story. which makes him an omniscient narrator since he is aware of the perspective of both Victor and the creature and their stories.

" 'I shall die, and what I now feel be no longer felt. Soon these burning miseries will be extinct. I shall ascend my funeral pile triumphantly, and exult in the agony of the torturing flames. The light of that conflagration will fade away ; my ashes will be swept into the sea by the winds. My spirit will sleep in peace ; or if it thinks, it will not surely think thus. Farewell.' "
The creature's narration at the end of the story reveals a first person perspective. However, this perspective is great because it demonstrates the creatures inner feelings which are of great sadness and despair. This makes the reader sympathize with the creature again and creates a close narrative distance because all he wanted was love, but instead feels that it is best to die.
