What tone and mood are created at various parts of the work?

The tones/ moods that I see as we read along and continue to read the story, it seems as if it is kind of sad/a bit adventurous or thrilling. despite the fact that they (the family) are trying the best they could to live off as a rich but abandoned, depressing lifestyle. I also learned that cursing could be a sign of a poor character and someone who has a weak mind. (that had me thinking) hmm could this mean that their family might have done some wrong deeds back in their past or are they just living in some harsh environment like how we are living right now.(examples like alcoholism) A quote that I read that relates to what I have here, is when it says: ¨Mom calls it a little bit of a drinking situation. there was what Mam called Dad ´ s. Beer phase. we could all handle that, Dad drove fast and sang really loud. it was a bit scary but fun¨. I choose this because It somewhat relates to what I saw and I give her props for having to deal and survive a lifetime like this.

What feelings or emotions does this book evoke for you?

Again, As I said how it gives off this complicated emotions, whether if its sad, adventurous, or having that excited feeling, it mostly concentrates on making the story sound more book-worming. (This confused me a bit)I say it does because how are you going to get away from hitting the door running once you finally took care of a medical condition either you or your family have without paying. cant they just call the authorities, state your name to them and then be chased down by half a compound of elite officers to come arrest you for not returning your debt. The quote that I found that relates to this is that when it says " Dad hurried down the hall with me in his arm. The nurse ordered us to stop. but Dad broke into a run. bashing right through the emergency exit door. and jumping right in the car ¨. to me this is Not relatable, but I chose this because it shows how caring the father is and the sacrifice he made for his daughter. this is also relatable to me and what my dad has done for me (similar to this but a lot less life threatening).
