This definition will provide some clarity is ever needed. What exactly is the function of behavior though? An animal's behavior can determine its success in the wild and its ability to successfully reproduce. When relating to animals, behavior typically relates to the overall ability for the animal to survive and reproduce. Typically with animals there are behavioral adaptations that help the animal survive. One adaptation being, migration. Migration is the seasonal movement of animals from one place to another.
