The worm that’s fled<br>Hath nature that in time will venom breed" (III.iv.30-31).<br>This use of a metaphor shows that Macbeth's greed will lead him to kill anybody that is a threat to him. He knew that the prophecy said that Banquo's descendants will be kings and he wants to stop that because they are a threat to him.</div>]]></description>
