project title: the horrifying experience of making a fursuit.

reason: I've been WANTING to own one of these for so long, but if you buy it online, it will cost you thousands of dollars. (minimally $600-800) Therefore, since I'm broke, I'll make my own instead, using a bunch of sewing materials.

PROJECT TITLE: how to Juggle

DESCRIPTION: learn how to juggle in different ways

REASON: i want to learn how to juggle mainly because i am currently bad at juggling

Project title: learning Lua language and attempting to make a simple game.

Reason: Its interesting and I want to learn how to code.

i drew the first image on my pld as a draft design on my character before transferring it on my phone and making the final reference sheet (2nd image)

Then again, if i commission someone to make this/if i buy an existing one, it will confirm shoot up to atleast $600+(USD) just only for the head.

I will get a premade base so i can easily work on just applying and sewing the fur, ears, tail and paws

I've listed down five 3-star tricks My goal is to at least learn 3-5 tricks as shown in the picture.

You might be asking me: "bro how the hell are you gonna do these tricks with a normal pen"

That's why I use something called a Pen Mod. It is a specially modified pen specifically used for spinning. It has weights on both ends to balance it out. And no it cannot write anything. I've provided a picture of what a Pen Mod looks like.

Im planning to make a bouquet with at least 4 different types of flowers.

Project Title: Bunny Tricks

Description: I want to teach my bunny tricks

Reason: I want to teach my bunny tricks because it provides him with essential mental stimulation, prevents boredom-related destruction, and strengthens my bond with my bunny. It enhances communication, allows for easier care (e.g., nail trimming), and lets you safely guide them without stress

PROJECT TITLE: make a game with 0 experience

REASON: it looks fun and enjoyable and it could be a good way to use my coding skills to improve my cognitive thinking.

Title: Learning how to do caligraphy

Description: I want to learn how to do caligraphy and write a sentence in caligraphy

Reason: I want to improve my hand-writing

The reason why I haven't even started yet was because it was hard buying almost $150 worth of materials and other misc for my fursuit. I had to make some tough choices and cut atleast $55 to $60 from my purchase and have my budget (for Taobao/online shopping $100 to $90 only.)

So the shipping will take WAY longer, estimated will be May 22nd. That's when I will start the actual head project. For now, as you can see, I went ahead and bought cloth tape for patterning and a 1.5m lime green cloth for my character's main clothes. I also bought yellow dye to dye my existing spare fur pieces from another costume to match my characters fur color. Along with that, I bought craft foam to make some accessories for my character.)

By the time im making this post, it's already night so I'll probably dye the fauc fur after school, again, sorry for no updates :P

I'll try my best to summarize.

1.) materials finally came,

2.) prior to having the materials arrive, i made/DIY a physical copy of badge that I'll be weaeig to a convention

3.) i went on and began with the process of making the head.

i have archived and documented videos when I made some parts but the file size is too big for padlet again.

First of all, I added scraps of playmat foam to the back of the head (face) I made sure it perfectly fits my head, ofc. I glued all of it together to form a half dome. I then added another layer of thin foam to cover the rough surface of the playmat foam (+to add extra protection as well.)

I then proceeded to use upholstery foam to "carve" the ears and the cheek. (First, I drew a general pattern or shape onto paper, cut it out and pinned it to the head first to visualize.) I then traced the pattern onto the foam and cut it out/shape it until it had that 3D shape. Unfortunately, this was the messiest part of the process SO FAR (mess gets worse from that point forward.) I then glued those parts in and also made sure I secured it very well so it would NOT fall off. (I did durability tests.)

Then, comes to my current progress and the most time consuming part so far which is to tape the head to make a pattern for the fur to eventually sew and put onto the head itself. (I could go into a simple explanation onto why I need to do this but this paragraph is getting too long and I'm sure most people won't read this.) so currently im taping the entire head fragment by fragment, using marker to draw the markings of my design to cut it out and transfer to paper to make pattern then transfer to the fur.

my other current thing im doing right now is putting the eyes together and glueing the eye blanks and the eye mesh (pupils) which is also quite difficult and a headache to do haha.

my future step would be to cut and draw out seamlines in the tape then transfer pattern to fur.

after that, I transfer pattern to fur, I cut the fur. then I sew those fur patterns together. THEN, I pin it to the head and glue/sew it on. then i can also try to sew the neck fluff on as well.

My deadline is 10 june. My convention that I'll be wearing this to is 13 june.
