I am a coordinator and advisor for our Boston program at BCNC.
I work with the volunteers who help the students learn.
I also work with individual students to talk with you about your goals and to help you with anything that makes it difficult for you to participate in classes. I also try to help people looking for jobs, or for their next educational opportunity after BCNC.
I have been teaching English overseas and in Boston for 25 years. I love working with immigrants because I get to learn so much about different parts of the world that I haven’t ever been to. I also enjoy learning about different languages. I speak German and some Russian and some Spanish. I can say a few words in many different languages. Maybe you can help me learn some words in your language as well.
One hobby I picked up a few years ago is painting at “paint nights”. At these events a professional artist takes us step by step through the process of painting a beautiful picture.  Here is one  painting I did a few years ago.

 In Level 0 class, we will start from 26 letters（字母）and basic phonics（语音）, numbers（数字） and sight words（常见字）, then move on to real life topics, such as personal information (个人信息), daily life routine（日常生活用语）, shopping（购物）, job（工作） and so on.
