Overall, the mine has undergone a number of dramatic changes, the most important of which are the introduction of some tourist facilities and the disappearance of waste tip and office area, turning it from a mine to a visitors' destination.

In the northwest, the office and staff changing room have been merged into museum while the car park next to it remained unchanged. With respect to the central area, the entrance to the underground mine for workers has been converted into the entrance for tourists. There used to be a medical room situated in the center of the map, but it has been replaced by cafe. The lorry park which was directly opposite the medical room has been reconstructed to be a souvenir shop to cater for the visitors. 

The northeastern part of the mining area has seen significant changes, with the waste tip 1 being transformed into digger driving track and the waste tip 2 being cleared to build a picnic area. The children's play area have also been erected in the southeastern area. Besides, footpath for commuting has been created around the area.
