Cut out the squares of shells.  First have your child sort them into four groups of shells by shell design.  Then have your student place each group of shells in a row from smallest to largest.  If they want to they can glue them to a piece of paper and number them 1-4 in the little corner boxes.

Use the blue Transportation Number Sense Game board.  There are four different kinds of number cards.  numbers, dots on ten frames, hands, and dominoes.  You may choose to have one type of card or up to all four types in a pile.  Take turns choosing a card off the pile, counting what's on the card, and matching it to the number on the board by placing on the board.  You can choose to cut out the number board into two strips 1-5 and 6-10 so child can place the card underneath the numbers and stil see the blue numbers.

Use the yellow cards in take home packet and included beads for dinosaur eggs.  Count the eggs on each ten frame on the card.  If there is a complete row of 5, point that out and count on from five.  If an entire ten frame is filled start with 10 and count up.  Count out same number of eggs in the nest and count matching fingers starting at five if all fingers on a hand are up.  Try to show number on own fingers.    For numbers higher than ten follow the same directions except count the tallies.  You will have to model counting by fives and then ones when necessary.  (There is not an expectation that your child can count by fives, so they will need your help.) 
The purpose of this activity is to practice counting up to 20 with one to one correspondence between the number and a representation of that number.  It is also important to recognize five and ten immediately on fingers.
