Adeolu was inspired by life and experiences, and he had witnessed moments that expressed a sense of multiple realities, hallucinations and lost memories. His images contain a special notion of the passage of time and an underlying emotion. He uses photography to depict deep, unexpressed feelings and thoughts in his heart.

Many of his images use multiple exposures and time-lapse techniques. He also prefers to be more straightforward, emotional, and gloomy.

I used the lights in the studio to simulate the light of a natural skylight, just like a reference image. I pointed the lamp towards the ceiling and I stood on the chair. The camera shoots upwards from the ground view to simulate the effect of shooting upwards. I used Photoshop to adjust the contrast, brightness and shadow of the photo to an effect close to that of the reference image.

The clear pool and surrounding flowers and trees make people feel relaxed and full of life. But the water pipes vaguely exposed underwater give the illusion of being left over from the war.

The 1951 Festival of Britain was a colourful celebration for the British public following the long grey years

of the second world war. Cultural activities were centred on the South Bank, and forty acres .of Battersea Park were turned over to the Festival Pleasure Gardens, which were intended to recreate the spirit of other famous Pleasure Gardens such as Tivoli and Vauxhall. Some of the great designers of the day were called upon, including garden designer Russell Page, theatrical designer Osbert Lancaster and artist John Piper, to make the Festival Pleasure Gardens into a fantastical creation of theatres, dance-tents and tea rooms centred around Page's colourful planting and magnificent fountains. The Festival lasted only one year and gradually the original structures and plantings deteriorated or were removed.

Wandsworth Council, assisted by the Heritage Lottery Fund, has restored the main landscape features of the Grand Vista and Russell Page's Flower Garden. The Tea Terrace Pergola is designed to recreate some of the colour, and whimsical styling of the original Festival Structures. During the Festival, the Grand Vista was framed by a trellis replica façade of the Crystal Palace, the outline of which has been recreated in water with the Crystal Fountain Display.

The little boy carrying a schoolbag is obviously a student. There are two adults in the picture, they are walking in a hurry and their faces are expressionless. It is in sharp contrast to the innocent children.

Photography records every wonderful moment, even if they are short and fleeting, but it makes every moment real and they deserve to be remembered.

We will pass by countless strangers in our lifetime, and for some, it may be the only time in their lives that they will ever meet.

A one-time meeting is also a destiny between us. I want to record these moments.

The metro is a very crowded place and everyone who comes here has a clear goal in mind and has their destination. Maybe they just came here from somewhere, or maybe they are going somewhere. On the surface, everyone is focused on one thing, and that is taking the underground. But in reality, everyone has their own life, their things to do, and their inner world. In the seemingly quiet underground, everyone is talking to themselves silently in their hearts.

In this photo I took, two men don't know each other, but they are sitting there in the same position with a tacit understanding.

On the escalator, everyone looks different, some are running, some are calmly staring, some are talking to their friends, and some are looking directly at my camera. I knew in this moment we knew each other. And only for a moment.

I'm focus on foods.

This is an attempt at my final project. I want to photograph the details of the food, not all of it. Different spices and ingredients collide to cook a variety of unique cuisines. It's like everyone's identity in this world. Different but all have their own unique life, and all colours of life meet to build different relationships.

I wish to use the relationship between food and condiments as an analogy for the relationship between people and society. However, this one does not imply that people are equivalent to 'condiments'. Condiments usually have a single flavour each, which is combined to make a dish. But every person is multifaceted. A person cannot be viewed and defined from a single perspective.（NOT WORK😭）

A “dystopia” is an imagined or speculative civilization defined by unfavourable and oppressive conditions. Natural catastrophes, social breakdown, totalitarian rule, or other unfortunate circumstances frequently bring about these characteristics. In contrast to utopia, which imagines a perfect and peaceful society, dystopia examines the negative and often terrifying parts of human existence in a made-up or future world. In dystopian narratives, society is typically characterised by totalitarian or authoritarian rule, social inequality, technological abuse, environmental degradation and loss of individuality.

He also works on commissioned and commercial projects with select brands and bodies.

Chinese New Year, the most important holiday in China. At this time of the year, it is a time for family reunions. No matter what you are doing, you will try to go home to your family as much as possible on this holiday. I am no exception, as an international student studying overseas. The only time I can go back to China every year is during the summer holidays, as the holiday schedules don't coincide, and the spring semester has usually started in the UK by the time of Chinese New Year. However, this year's Chinese New Year falls on reading week in the UK, so I had the opportunity to go back to China for Chinese New Year. This inspired me to photograph China during the New Year.

We have also tried to express utopia and anti-utopia in a set of pictures. But this format doesn't have a strong impact.

We photographed the lake in the park, which was full of birds that would fly up and hover over it from time to time. Birds symbolise freedom, they can fly wherever they want. We photographed the pavilion and the reflection of the pavilion in the ground water, the pavilion contrasted with the reflection, 'a positive and a negative'. We also photographed the Buddha statue, which symbolises a good long-cherished wish。

It also corresponds to the theme that two people who are focused on their mobile phones seem to be in different worlds even though they are only one seat apart.

The underground station lighting where this photo was taken is a warm colour. The main colour of the advertisement behind the subject is yellow. So this photo is yellow in tone.

They don't know each other, they are just crossing at the same time. In this moment, on this footpath, the destination of all is the same. But soon, on reaching the opposite side of the road, everyone is going in separate directions. Even though they were all crossing the road at the same time in this short period of time, I believe that in their hearts, they all had different destinations. After crossing the road, they all had their own individual things to do. This road can be said to be a bridge linking their origins and destinations.

Instead of saying that they are crossing the road at the same time, it is better to understand that they are all walking alone. It is as if people from different time and space are in the same place and they are overlapping in the same picture.

In addition, there are lion dances, lanterns and temple fairs. All of them reflect the lively atmosphere.

I think this is why I am interested in documentary and street photography. I think the meaning of life is to discover, to find out what life has to offer. Your discoveries can be wonderful and surprising. Or they can be disappointments. But all are real. Photography can record everyone I meet, even if we have only met once. But Buddha said '500 times of looking back in the previous life for a single brush with the shoulder in this life. As long as we can meet, it's fate.

After reading this book, it triggered a lot of thoughts in me. The author uses literary techniques to reflect social issues. Using words to dissect the surface of life, taking China as an example. This is the author's insight and reflection. While reading this book I felt like I was having a dialogue with an elder, or perhaps learning about life.

From this perspective, disparity can be understood in many ways. Gaps between people, such as: gender differences, income gaps, status differences and so on. These 'definitions' label people. I cannot resist these gaps that life brings to people. I am just a bystander, a recorder. But is there a moment when there are no such material labels , there is just the most simple and ordinary identity. That is, 'themselves' or 'their family'.

One of them is a man admiring it alone. The other group is a man taking a picture of a woman. Both groups are in the picture at the same time, but their eyes are looking in different directions. The man alone is more focused on the painting itself. It seems as if the people in front of him who are taking pictures to commemorate the occasion don't exist, and his line of sight seems to pass through them to reach the painting directly. The group that is taking pictures is more focused on taking pictures to record the tour. They are not aware of the presence of the man next to them.

The colours in this image are tinted green by the large painting in the room. I have retained this colour. It feels like the people in the photograph are in the painting.

Visitors usually sit here to take in the stunning grandeur of the building and hear about its design. Some rest here, some take photos, some learn about the church, and some talk to fellow travellers. Just like the people in this photo.

All in the same space, but doing separate things. They don't bother each other, creating a harmonious atmosphere.

The colours in this photo are the richest in my set. I made this photo the largest primary image also because of its colours. The glass flower windows are made up of different small pieces of glass, and the light passing through each individual small piece of glass is refracted to different places with different colours. Each group of people concentrating on doing their own thing is illuminated by a different colour. A single colour is a layer and each of these people have separate layers that combine to make this image. It's like they exist in parallel worlds but appear in this photo at the same time, or the different layers are superimposed on each other but not merged.

They just came out of the museum, and since they are also Chinese, I could faintly hear them planning where to go next. The two adults were making plans. Children always look around and are curious about everything.

The interesting thing about this photo is that to the others, they are a family, as a whole. But if you look at them individually they are divided into two parts, high and low. The adults on the high side are conversing again. The children in the lower part are playing. They are under two umbrellas. These two umbrellas envelop the family, but their attention is not in the same place. Whichever way you read it, it echoes the theme. Depending on the interpretation of the space in the natural space or the man-made space under the umbrellas.

It was raining when this photo was taken and the grey scale was very high. I toned the image slightly purple based on the clothes on the children and the colour of their umbrellas.

It was a large family, mum and dad with six children. They were very focused on enjoying their ice cream. Their family was resting together in this public place. Even if I didn't know them I knew they were a family. Some of them were focused on eating their ice cream and the dad was watching the kids. One of the kids was watching the mum.

Coincidentally there were six cartoon people on the wall behind them, corresponding to the six children. The blue of the background echoes the blue of the main colour of the photo. Mum's hat is also blue. The main colour of this image also corresponds to the blue part of the main picture.

In 1951, Haas relocated to the United States, where he started experimenting with Kodachrome color film. He quickly became known as the leading color photographer of the 1950s. His groundbreaking 24-page color photo essay on New York City, published by LIFE magazine in 1953, marked a significant milestone in color photography. In 1962, Haas's work was showcased in the first-ever color photography exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

Throughout his career, Haas extensively traveled and contributed to numerous influential publications like LIFE, Vogue, and Look. He authored several books, including "The Creation" (1971), "In America" (1975), "In Germany" (1976), and "Himalayan Pilgrimage" (1978).

In 1986, Haas posthumously received the prestigious Hasselblad Award. His legacy continues to be celebrated through museum exhibitions and publications, such as "Ernst Haas, Color Photography" (1989), "Ernst Haas in Black and White" (1992), and "Color Correction" (2011). The Ernst Haas Studio, based in New York, manages his estate, supporting research and overseeing projects related to his work.

Throughout his career, Haas traveled extensively, capturing scenes from around the world. His photographs reflect a deep appreciation for cultural diversity and a fascination with the human experience in all its forms, from the streets of New York City to the remote landscapes of the Himalayas.

Not only that, but my image can be seen to have a city street in the background, whereas Haas's is a much more free-form environment in a less definable place.

Also, relevant to my topic. I want to break the illusion and just focus on what I see in front of me.

Despite initial reports of a 24-hour hotline for those experiencing severe culture shock provided by the Japanese embassy in Paris, the embassy has denied the existence of such a hotline. Reports vary on the frequency and severity of Paris syndrome cases, with the Japanese embassy in Paris acknowledging around 20 cases per year in 2006. However, in 2011, the embassy refuted claims of repatriating Japanese nationals due to Paris syndrome, suggesting conflicting information regarding the syndrome's prevalence and management.

This gave me direction and gave me more clarity on my subject and what I was going to do next.

Some of the photographs present a unique sense of solitude, capturing people's deepest emotions and thoughts. Perhaps someone is contemplating over a cup of coffee, another is entranced while listening to music, and still another is immersed in a sea of knowledge while leafing through a book. Their eyes may be lost. And some photos reflect the unique atmosphere between families.

On a crowded city street, we may see a businessman in designer clothes hurrying past and a homeless man looking at him, but their life paths may be far apart. In a busy cafe, there may be a pair of lovers snuggling intimately, but the lonely person next to them may be silently immersed in their own world, with no interaction with those around them. And in a quiet library, everyone is focused on the book in their hands, but their choices and interests can be vastly different, making the distance between them even more pronounced.

This gap and disconnect has become more pronounced in modern society, partly due to increased individualism and social divisions. Despite the fact that we live in a highly interconnected world, the social circles and groups in which each person lives can be completely different, leading to disconnection and difficulties in understanding each other. However, it is this gap and disconnection that deepens each person's sense of isolation and creates a unique state of coexistence in between.

In this space full of homogeneity, we see a variety of life scenes. Perhaps in a high-rise building, each room has a different rhythm of life and emotional atmosphere. Some families may be overflowing with laughter as they share dinner around the dining room table, while another family may be savouring the quiet of solitude in their respective bedrooms. In a park in the same neighbourhood, a group of friends or families may be playing sports and games together, but each group seems to be in a world of its own, with no sign of interaction with others.

The project presents an intricate social landscape in which each individual or family is pursuing their own happiness and fulfilment. They may have different values, dreams and pursuits, making their life trajectories each run in a different direction. Although they are in the same space, they seem to live in their own worlds, constructing an invisible barrier that makes communication difficult and blurred.

I hope that this group of works can provoke us to think deeply about individualism, social division and interpersonal relationships. In today's fast-paced and highly competitive society, the emphasis on individualism and self-worth makes people pay more attention to their personal needs and desires, while neglecting to connect and share with others. In the process, people may choose to enclose themselves in their own world, seeking their own fulfilment and peace of mind, while ignoring the existence and needs of others.

However, it also reminds us that although each person is an individual, we also co-exist in the same space. In this process of coexistence, perhaps we can understand and respect each other's differences more, and seek ways to establish real connections, thus creating a more harmonious and inclusive social environment. Perhaps through photography, we can arouse people's awareness of coexistence and mutual support, so that everyone can find their own place and value in this busy world.

She believes that each hand represents a unique story of life.

The details and textures represent achievements, struggles, hard work and sacrifices, and the stories are told through differences in clothing, skin colour, and objects held.

Bodies play a key role in this image, they may be lonely, they may be fragile, but in the context of the sea, they become powerful and beautiful. The lines of the bodies echo the waves of the sea, creating a harmonious visual effect. In this moment, the body seems to be an extension of the sea, blending and merging with it, and together they form the core of this image.

The sea plays the role of the background in this image, it is timeless and grandiose, contrasting with the body. The azure tones of the sea contrast strongly with the soft colours of the body, highlighting its presence. The waves of the sea intertwine with the silhouette of the body, creating a dynamic visual effect that imbues the entire image with life and vigour.
