A couple animals that live here are grizzlies, elk, moose, deer, otters, badgers, and bald eagles.</div>]]></description>

Fires are very common here because of the dry, very windy conditions being ignited by lightning. They lie north of the 30 degrees N latitude line. Some plants that are in this biome are a lot of grass, shrubs, and thousands of little plants. Animals that live here are ground squirrels, bison, black bears, wolves, deer, lizards, and rattlesnakes.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

Most of the rain come during the summer with almost none coming during the winters. Trees drop their leaves here as an adaptation to survive the drought in the winters. They are between 20 degrees N and 20 degrees S latitude. Plants that can be found here are shrubs and isolated tress like acacia and baobab. Lions, zebras, elephants, and giraffes all live here as well.</div>]]></description>

There is a 12 month growing season here because of the high temperature and low precipitation in the summer, and colder temperature and higher precipitation in the winter. They are between the 30 and 40 degrees N and 30 and 40 degrees S latitude. Common plants found here are the yucca, scrub oak, and sagebrush. Quail, black-tailed jackrabbits, coyotes, and southern pacific rattlesnakes are just a few animals that live here.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Desert<br>This biome is known for it’s hot temperatures and extremely dry conditions. Rain barely ever falls here leading to sparse vegetation. When rain does fall the landscape is transformed and annual plants grow very quickly during rainfall. They are found around 30 degrees N and 30 degrees S latitude. Some plants found here are cacti, euphorbia plants, and succulent plants. Coyotes, tortoises, camels, and roadrunners are some of the most common animals found here.</div>]]></description>

It is mad up of mostly coniferous evergreen trees that appear green year round. Plant growth is constrained here more by temperature than precipitation. They are found between 50 degrees N and 60 degrees N. The plants that grow here are mostly just kinds of evergreens like pine, spruce, fir, birch, maple, and aspen. Beavers, brown bears, and wolverines are some animals that live here.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

They are moving towards each other and one goes below and the other stays above. The oceanic plate usually goes underneath the continental plate.
