They were both starving and right as things were getting bad with their food supply, Dally comes. Dally tells them that the police were looking in Texas, Sodapop left Ponyboy a note, and he tells them to come out and eat. Ponyboy and Johnny both chug their food down and will only stop till they get a headache.
