In our grade level this was reserved for the last 15 minutes of the day following our Reading Tier time. This allowed students to read a personally selected book. Teachers would select a book, dress as the character, and "perform" for a small audience. We complete 20-30 minute rotations. Some smaller books would have an activity that went along with the story.

Kids can see how important and exciting reading can be.
