There are many possible career paths from consultancy to management to agronomy to research or even to politics. One specific example would be, a career in consultancy whether that be, agronomy, livestock or nutrition as all of these careers usually require an Agricultural degree. One employer currently advertising is Shire Consulting. They are looking for a person with a degree in agriculture to join them and train in technical sales specially within the dairy industry. This particular job would teach you further nutritional skills and allow you to work with farmers and give them advice and support. A degree in agriculture would prepare you for a job like this as not only does it give you a very good overview of the sector but specific modules cover things like nutrition in much greater details. They host postgraduates that want to do research in the field of crop science. This career would be easy to attain because of the preparation a bioscience degree would give you.
