Many workers were pushed to the maximum only to earn a few cents a day.
6. Because the workers in the factories earned so little, they could barely support their families. Many children were hurt by the machines.
7. The environment was impacted by industrialization because pollution rates rose from the burning of fossil fuels and oil. Water was also polluted.
8.

1. Urbanization is when a large amount of people move into a certain city, or town.
2. The impact of urbanization is that companies gained more money because people who had just moved bought their products.
3. In cities, as a result of so many people living there, not only did city economics grow, but tourism and other attractions brought people to the cities.
4. Lower and mid classes moved to cities. Lower class wanted a jobs at factories,. Mid class wanted to live in a place that might boost their career. According to the U.S census, around 100,000 people were living in America. This was a giant jump in urbanization.
5. Children's jobs in cities were to help to support their poor families by working in a factory 14/7. Children did not go to school because of their other responsibilities at work or home. It was very rare that a child would get free time. their was so much done at home or work. But, some more fortunate kids would have to finish there chores before they got to sing songs or play games.
6. Huge populations impacted the city because more structures were had to be made. Companies also built more factories because of the new people and consumers in the city. But, more people means much more waste.

7. People lived more in the urban areas in the city. Living conditions were very hard and crime rates were always high in this part of the city. Many people were desperate.
8.Urbanization improved America because factories were able to expand when there were more workers moving in to cities.
9. Education was not something that children would attend everyday. If children were lucky, they occasionally get some days at school.
10. Some problems were solved but not all of them.

1. The IR affected different parts of the country by boosting economics of cities by mass production.
2. Cultural changes are modifications of society through inventions, innovations, and study.
3. Immigrants moved to society because they hoped for a better life in America because the country was doing so well.
4. Many families were affected because they didn't spend to much time together. These families were to busy working in factories. Families had almost no relationships.
5. Immigration changed American culture because of the ways immigrants were evolving into language, cooking and others.
6. Life was rough for new immigrants. Many got sick and died on the way to America, and others hd to work very hard to achieve the dreams they had for the country.
7. Most children were to busy working to go to school. If they were lucky enough, there were only one room school houses they could attend, where all grade levels were taught at the same time. Segregation was kicking in at the time so certain races of children were separated into dirty and terrible school conditions.
8. Some of the lower class were boosted to the middle class level. These included scientists, doctors, and other professions. The higher class gained much money from their businesses that were mass producing.
9.Lower class kids would only be able to play games such as "Kick the Can". More children who lived a wealthy life might want to talk on the telephone with their other friends.
10. Discrimination had been present ever since immigrants moved to America. People who already lived in America were mad that new immigrants were taking over job, and so Americans started judging the immigrants by their race or where they came from. At the time, the government did not do much about this problem.
