an example of an activity;
children been put in a group to creat a word or a picture of something. Al the children go and see if they can guess what the picture is showing.

helping them learn while doing fun and active things. it can be done indoor or outdoor.

Example of another activity;
we could take the children for a walk to collect all the different leafs and twigs and sticks.

could be used as an indoor activity or  outdoor. if the weather didnt suit they could paint the leafs and twigs indoors.
if the weather is ok they could go out and make one big picture.

the children found it boring just painting.

Gt all the children to work individually. one of the staff create a picture with a marker on a big board and allow them to copy it but by using arts and crafts(indoor) use leaves and twigs to make a picture on the ground(outdoor).

Weakness: the children might find the acticity boring and original making them not turn up to the after school club. Weather can be an issue.

-When not raining the children can go collect different types of leafts and nature things, inorder for them to either make a picture out of it, pattern, paint the leavs and use them as stand for the shape

Strengths-
the children will be able to develop different skills such as numeracy, literature and arts and crafts. The children can also do different types of things that they wants to do with the leafs and other nature things. 
Weakness-
one of the weakness could be that they children might find it boring if they arent the type to enjoy nature and arts and crafts but we could work around this and maybe encourage them to make a oicture or a collage of somethingt they do enjoy.. out of the leaft and nature.
Opportunity-
the children have the opportunity to develop some new skills, the community could maybe sponsor us in the future, then the children might be able to go on trips to see different nature things and collect things from a different environment.

-Going outside to collect naturist things such as collecting leafs and twigs to be able to make different pictures out of them. 
-If the weather was not good, we could use everything that we had collected, use paint, paint the leafs to be able to make stamp pictures of them for the children to be able to take home to show what they have learnt about the leafs detailing the shape that is on them. 
Strength 
-They would be able to focus on skills that is needed when collecting different things and when it comes to spelling what they are or counting how many is there, it would help with their numeracy skills and literacy. 
Weakness

Take them out onto the yard and into the garden to collect different outdoors things, such as: sticks, leaves, grass, rocks , stones..etc... Then to come back into the classroom and creat a "story" or an experience something fun they have had or done on the weekend  using  their imagination with the out door equipment which helps them with their spelling and getting them to think.

strengths; it will help them learn while they are having fun and enjoying being outdoors. They will learn literacy, as well as numeracy and arts and crafts while they don't realise it. Also, it would be good for the children to be able to be more outdoors than get more fresh air than it would for them to be stuck indoors throughout school time and also after school in the club. If the weather is poor outside then therefore we have activities planned that include nature things that they could do indoors, such as with leaves, wood, grass etc.

weaknesses; children might think that the activity planned is boring because they might not like to be outdoors, they would rather be indoors. They might think that it is boring because they have done something similar before in the school.
