         <description><![CDATA[<div>It was caused by several factors<br><br>Ideological factors: the idea that the colonists were familiar with enlightened thinking about freedom and equality, something that became the main reason for the independent movement.<br><br>Political factors: the parliaments made decisions on taxes and issues related to the colonies, something that Britain refused to allow.<br><br>Economic factors: a wealthy colonial bourgeoisie that wanted commercial power without interference from Great Britain.</div>]]></description>
