After a long period of discussion, this campaign became a clear favorite within our group as we all strongly felt that the costs of revision guides were too high at schools. Some students are entitled to "free school meal" because they are at a disadvantage financially. Surely it is only fair if the same students who are entitled to "free school meal" should be entitled to free GCSE revision guides; but not just them, all students

this is important as some students seem to miss out on extra revision because of financial issues.

Thanks for the comment Chloe Thatcher, here is the answer to your comment:

Student Ambassadors- They are an effective student voice and are able to make changes for students

Heads of Years- In charge of the year groups within school, can instigate change within the year groups

Head Teacher- Controls the school and handles all the issues within school

Governors- Handle the finances and make decisions together with the Head on school matters

Having studied educational inequalities at Cardiff University, this project highlights

material deprivation in schools and the goal that all students should have an equal opportunity

to succeed no matter their socio-economic status. Starting with reducing the costs of materials necessary to achieve!

It seems students are missing out, just because of money, surely this is wrong, I think , as with free school meals , some students should be able to apply for free text books and materials.
