I don't have too much of a past with technology. My most used form of technology is pharmaceutical technology, which I have been working with for the past ten years. One of the software is Winpharm. Other forms of technology that I am familiar with are Canva, Cricut Design Space, and Silhouette Studio. Along with the machines they go with. These are apps and programs that I use for my small business.

Hopes & Concerns with Tech in the Classroom

I’m hopeful that technology can help me create more interactive, fun, and inclusive lessons. I’d love to use videos, games, and virtual labs to keep students engaged, especially those who struggle with traditional lectures. But I also worry about things like access. Not all students have devices or reliable internet at home. I’m also concerned about the pressure to keep up with every new app or platform. My goal is to find balance - to use tech as a tool, not a distraction, and to keep the focus on connection and curiosity.

I dream of a classroom that feels like a little ecosystem of joy, curiosity, and growth — a place where students feel like scientists the moment they walk in. Each corner would have something hands-on: maybe a mini terrarium, a “science question of the day” board, or even a wall of fun biology puns like “Don’t be so cell-fish!” I’d love to decorate with pastel science posters and student art My goal is to build a space that inspires discovery, celebrates mistakes, and helps every student feel seen.
