I attended Edge Hill University whilst juggling a small market gardening business and completing an NVQ Level 2 in Environmental Conservation. My favourite places are the Northern Isles and Outer Hebrides of Scotland where I had close encounters with Otters, Dolphins and birds of prey. Despite taking human Geography modules in the final year of my degree, I enjoy teaching Geomorphology and Tectonics because the topics explain how the landscapes I love were shaped.

At key stage three pupils visit Liverpool to study the urban regeneration of Liverpool and its impact upon the city. 
At key stage four as a part of their fieldwork investigagtion pupils visit the lake district and the sefton coast .
Pupils can also take part in study further afield ranging from France to  Iceland.
