DI Vision: To develop confident learners who enjoy learning by maximizing student learning through differentiated approaches based on student's individual readiness levels.

Reasons:
- Use assessment (differentiated) to drive instruction as main goal posts will be clear. Different groups of students have different levels of readiness. We want to stretch the high ability students while ensuring that the average and weak students will still be able to achieve the basic learning objectives well. Customizing the curriculum based on student readiness will increase likely motivation and joy towards learning.

DI Vision: Differentiated Instruction to maximise the unique learning ability and potential of every student.
Reasons:
1. There is limited teaching resources but many varied learners of different strength and pace in the same class. Without having to band the classes ever so fine, because we also do not have the resources, the DI is the way to ensure ready and fast learners are not short changed while those who are less ready get GRR.
2. The department will adopt the strategy of getting the stronger learners to help the weaker ones and as such the instructions to the learners are necessarily differentiated. ~TPE
