There is a big impact on our government because of the code of Hammurabi. One of those impacts is the fact that they appointed governors, solider and tax collectors to keep control of the empire. Today these things are a part of our society and government.Every United Staes citizen has to pay taxes or they can go to jail and/or pay a fee. We also have governors, they have control over government budgeting.
