One person from the prologue whose character doesn't match what you would expect from their title is the Prioress. My expectation is that she would be very well mannered and polite as well as being modest and devoted to her God. The character of the Prioress is almost the opposite. She isn't at all modest, always wanting to be a show off of her education . She doesn't think of God, but of her own self interest and reputation she wants to uphold.

The Pardoner sold indulgences and fake relics to people. He told people that greed was a sin and how money should be given away instead of keeping to oneself. The thing about that is, the Pardoner was filled with greed and kept the money the people had given away. The funny thing is, as he is selling people indulgences, he was sinning at the same time.
