The character that really doesn't match up in my eyes in the Canterbury tales is the Pardoner because he should be a really kind religious man but he scams people. Like he sales pigs bones and keeps the money. The Pardoner sold indulgences and fake relics to people. He told people that greed was a sin and how money should be given away instead of keeping to oneself. The thing about that is, the Pardoner was filled with greed and kept the money the people had given away.
