Question 3.
1)It was different due to its scale and repercussions. It was fought on a worldwide scale and affected almost all countries in the world. During this war new methods of defence and destruction were used. Moreover even the civilian population was involved which was not common before the first world war.
2)In Sarajevo crisis, Archduke Francis Ferdinand, the heir apparent of Austria-Hungary was assassinated on June 28, 1914. It was organized by a society called 'The Black Hand' formed by Serbian nationalists. Austria served an ultimatum for Serbia making 11 demands. Serbia accepted most of the demands except the ones that led to her compromise its sovereignty. 2) The Sarajevo crisis included the assassination of Archduke Francis in Bosnia on June 28, 1914. the assasination was conducted by serbian nationalists and this caused Austria to declare and ultimatum on Serbia, which was partially accepted. Since many demands were not accepted, Austria declared war on Serbia. This attracted attention of many other countries and caused their inclusion in the war.
