         <title>Emotional Health</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1.&nbsp; Focus on the good, not the bad.<br>What it is:&nbsp; Often times, people focus on their past mistakes and become absorbed by them, leading them to have poor emotional health and self-esteem.&nbsp; By not just tunnel-visioning on the bad aspects of life, and thinking about unchangeable factors, one should shift their focus to things that are good and positive in life.<br>Benefits:&nbsp; By focusing on the good, you can become more positive and optimistic towards life, as well as gain more self-confidence and learn from your past mistakes rather than wallowing in them.<br>Obstacles:&nbsp; It's easy to pity ourselves.&nbsp; This is the greatest obstacle of all.&nbsp; "Wah, my life sucks, wah."&nbsp; However, by looking back and focusing on all the good that has happened, these obstacles can and will be overcome.<br>2.&nbsp; Have fun<br>What it is:&nbsp; Spend time doing some activities you enjoy.&nbsp; Some people feel overwhelmed by life, and just need time to wind off.<br>Benefits:&nbsp; Just having fun will reduce stress, letting you worry less about the stressful things in your life.&nbsp; Also, it can improve your mood.<br>Obstacles:&nbsp; With people's busy lives these days, having fun is often difficult to block out time for.&nbsp; Plus, while trying to have fun, you can still stress out about everything else, and not relaxing.<br>Having fun sounds simple, and it is simple, until it's not.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Physical Health</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1.&nbsp; Practicing good nutrition<br>What it is:&nbsp; To practice good nutrition, one should balance their diet between all of the food groups (protein, vegetables, fruits, grains, and dairy) and to make sure that one doesn't consume too much of one thing.<br>Benefits:&nbsp; If you practice good nutrition, your physical health often improves because you are getting the nutrients that your body needs to sustain itself.<br>Obstacles:&nbsp; Eating health and practicing good nutrition can often be difficult because buying processed and sugary foods is much easier than putting in the time and effort of trying to eat healthy.<br>Healthy and nutritious food can taste good, but it takes effort to pull off.&nbsp; However, by dedicating the time and energy to it, one can eat well and feel good.<br>2.&nbsp; Getting plenty of physical activity<br>What it is: To get plenty of physical activity, you want to be active as much as possible.&nbsp; This entails playing outside, playing a sport working out, etc.<br>Benefits: If you get plenty of physical activity, you will feel and look healthier.&nbsp; Being physically can help you lose weight, gain muscle, and overall be healthier.<br>Obstacles: It can be difficult to be physically active for many reasons.  You may not have enough time, suffer from something that prevents you from doing it such as asthma, or just not enjoy it.  However, if you are not physically active there can be many consequences, such as gaining weight.  Being physically active is good for you and can be very fun, so it is something you should push yourself to do.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1.&nbsp; Read a book for pleasure<br>What it is:&nbsp; What the title says.&nbsp; Read a book for pleasure.&nbsp; Not for school (because that doesn't count), just on your own.&nbsp; Sit down, relax, and let the words flow over you (and annotate if you want). &nbsp;<br>Benefits:&nbsp; Reading books allows you to learn new words, imagine new places and people, and gain empathy and understanding for other people's perspectives.<br>Obstacles:&nbsp; In today's Internet driven world, books seem nearly irrelevant.&nbsp; We rarely seem to have time for any reading, but if proper time management is applied, it can be done.<br>2.&nbsp; Develop new skills and interests<br>What it is: Developing new skills and interests is when you try new things.&nbsp; This can take the form of joining a club, a team, a class and many other things.<br>Benefits: There are many benefits to developing new skills and interests.&nbsp; You can gain new skills, which can give you more qualifications for a job or a new way to make money, develop new interests to give you a fun new thing to do, or meet new people through your new interests.<br>Obstacles: There can be many obstacles getting in the way of developing new skills and interests.  People may think that they do not need a new interest, so they are unwilling to try something new.  They also may be uncomfortable trying new things or meeting new people, which could also prevent them from developing new skills and interests.  However, you should not let this stop you as there are so many things you could gain from developing new skills and interests.</div>]]></description>
