Osteoporosis - a bone disease that develops when bone mineral density and bone mass decreases

Symptoms - Loss of height over time, a stooped posture, back pain

Treatment - Vitamin D supplements, Alendronic acid, and avoid smoking and limit alcohol

Myopathy - a heterogeneous group of disorders primarily affecting the skeletal muscle structure, metabolism, or channel function.

Symptoms - Weakness, stiffness, cramps, and spasms

Treatment - Physical therapy, supportive devices such as braces, and sometimes surgery may also be used as treatment tools.

Meningitis - Inflammation of brain and spinal cord membranes, typically caused by an infection.

Symptoms - Back, muscles, or neck pain

Treatment - Antibiotics given directly into a vein ; steroid medication to help reduce any swelling around the brain
