         <title>Kosher Laws on Meat</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>According to the Torah the only kind of meat that can be eaten are cattle and game that have cloven hooves and "chew cud." If an animal only fulfills one of these requirements, for example a pig who has split hooves, but doesn't chew cud, you still can't eat it. Some examples include, are bulls, cows, sheep, lambs, goats, veal, and springbok. According to the Torah a kosher species must be slaughtered by a "Shochet," a ritual slaughterer. The death has to occur instantaneously because Jewish Law prohibits causing pain to animals</div>]]></description>

The different shapes of the loaves also represent different things. The round loaves symbolize continuity and are baked for Rosh Hashanah. Ladder and hand shaped loaves represent that people will ascend to great heights and the hand means they will have a good year. Both of these loeaves are used for Yom Kippur. </div>]]></description>
