Even though I hated the idea she asked my parents to get me all these workbooks on reading comprehension and everyday after school i sat and worked on that. Eventually I started to improve and now reading is one of my favorite things to do. Ive had so many teachers influence my life in one way or another and because of I decided I wanted to become a teacher. I want to do that for someone, I want to have an impact in their lives. I want to be high school Math teacher because math has always been one of my favorite subjects. I want to teach students that math isn't so scary.

Last year I joined the non profit organization called Hermanas Unidas(HaU). There are currently 18 chapters across California. Being part of this organization changed my life, as hermanas we offer each other support and we help each other grow professionally and personally. Due to the times we are in now I think HaU is an important org because it offers Latinx students a place where they feel safe and which fights for women empowerment. I am part of the board in the chapter at CSUF, I'm currently the Public Relations Chair. As the PR, I handle all of our social media, design gear, and I am responsible for all publicity of our events. Reading is one of my stress relievers, it takes my mind off of things and allows me to focus on something else. The Perks of Being a Wallflower is one of my favorite books and movies. When I have time, I try to watch as many movies and catch up on as many tv shows as I can. I love to go to the movie theaters. I usually go with my little brother, it has become our bonding time.
