            She lived in New York City. Also she went to school and she had to walk on the sidewalk to get there. She had to help a kid get to the school dentist. Everyday she got home and she could here Sal’s basketball.

It is about the ups and downs in life.  It is about friendships, bullies, and family. I suggest this book because it is very interesting and is like nothing I have ever read before. This book fits into the adventure section because Matilda goes to many different places and experiences a variety of different emotions. This book takes place in New York City and made me feel like I was there because she explained the different places Miranda went in detail. I found this book interesting because I have always wanted to go to New York City and I cant wait to experience what I read about when I go in February.                                                                                                 I am a lot like Miranda because she acts a lot like me in different ways. She has friends that are really close just like I am really close to my friends at school and dance. This book reminds me of a book called the “Boxcar Children” because they were all really close in both books. I would definitely recommend this book because it is interesting and was something I have not read about before. I give the book two thumbs-up.
