1. The roads provided efficient means for the overland movent of armies, officials, and civilians and the use of trading goods.
2. The use of roads made it easier to get around your town or city. Those roads were smaller too. The bigger roads were used to connect towns to cities.
3. We have roads too and we mostly use them the same way. We drive on roads to get somewhere and we use the big roads that are called highways, to get to cities or towns.

1. One of the most important area of influence was was the law. Earlier in passage, the idea of “ innocent until proven guilty” was created in Rome and we use that law in our court system today.
2. Many countries, including the United States, have since then used the republican Rome has modeled for their own governments, requiring that all laws have to go through two legislative bodies. It is a pattern continued in almost every democratic constitution.
3. Romans military and colonial towns were laid out like a highly planned grid. We have Colonia towns or military bases designed like that too.

We have arches in our bridges and we have columns in some our buildings for example the supreme court has columns.
3. Their are domes in our buildings too. One good example is the U.S. Capital has a dome too. I think it so amazing that a ancient empire has affected us in so many ways.
