Dolls were a big influence on my childhood growing up. I had two American Girl dolls that I adored and played with all the time. The dolls allowed me to be creative with how they dress and what their doll room looks like, which is not something a "boy toy" would give boys.

Flowers are another way I express my identity. I have always loved flowers and almost always have them in my room. I love going to Trader Joe's and pick out a beautiful bouquet. I always had my own little garden growing up at my old childhood house so I love being creative in that aspect.

Sabrina Carpenter is one of my favorites artists. Her music has had a significant impact on my identity as a person. Her music is written more for the teen/adult female audience. I feel that she has influenced my identity as a female and her music resonates with me.

The tv show "The Summer I Turned Pretty" has a significance influence on my identity. A lot of my friends have watched it so we can all bond on how much we love it and obsess about it together. The show is based off a book series and it's basically a romance love triangle. The books series and the show were created to target a female teen audience.

Intersectionality happens to everyone. Race and sex are the biggest things that could intersect. When looking at my identities, I don't believe I am a part of intersectionality as often. It's different for every person of how intersectionality effects their gender identities. Along with how other people perceive me because I am a woman could lead to judgement. Cognitive Development Theory reflects the best by my gender identity. Growing up, I was socialized mainly by my parents and I was placed into the feminine identity at a very young age. I gained an understanding of gender and sex by growing up the way I grew up.
