Chapters 21-25
Eve's grandparents, Trish and Maxwell, worry about Eve after they found out she had brain cancer. Eve is only expected to live for another six to eight months. Denny and Eve's daughter, Zoe, is starting her first day of kindergarten. The dog, Enzo, does not trust doctors due to Eve getting worse in the hospital. Eve being in the hospital causes Eve to pay more attention to Enzo and become closer. Denny never loses hope when Eve is in the hospital, but Enzo and Eve both know that it's hopeless.

Trish and Maxwell: sad that Eve isn't doing well, but wants to take care of Eve's daughter, Zoe.

Eve: In the hospital ill.

Zoe: Sad that Eve is going to pass away soon.

Denny: Optimistic about Eve and wants to continue supporting her.

Enzo: Knew that Eve had brain cancer long before everyone heard the news. Knows that Eve is going to die soon and comforts her.

I find Enzo interesting because he has such a good relationship with Eve that he knew she had brain cancer.
