E: The negative space used is within the lion's legs showing Mountains which  represents our Whanau. The reason for this negative space is to show a strong and brave animal protecting the Mountains and that is what you are seeing in the Drawing. X: The main use of this is to show how the Mountain is protected and safe in its zone. Like how Mountain's students look after each other. Similar to a babysitter taking care of a baby. A: The drawing we have drawn is to show how our whanau is safe and protected. A lion looks after their cubs by carrying them in their jaw or  standing over them like a shield protecting it. This shows a lion protecting our Mountain and making it indestructible. We chose a lion as our logo and put brown as a mountains colour.  (A) The two colours we put in our logo shows the values of our whanau and what it is capable of. E: The Lion is not only one of the strongest animals in the animal kingdom, the Lion also represents Courage, Bravery and best of all, Strength. Lions have a lot of pride in themselves, representing us having pride in our Whanau. Having a tough animal over our Whanau, and it being the dominant image will strongly support the idea of how students are working together supporting each other and keeping Mountains Whanau safe. X: By placing Mountains below the lion represents a person being under the roof of their house and kept away from danger. (E) The colour we used was brown and red because of mountain and our whanau colour. The image we used was a lion to represent our whanau. The image also has a mini mountain that is black and grey under the lion to show that the lion is on the top of the mountain.(X) We used brown as the mountain colour and blend it in with red to show our whanau colour. We also added a milky because that how there fur is.
