Digital technologies was not taught effectively in my primary school setting leading to a gap in personal knowledge.
Digital skills are essential to almost all employment strands in today's society.
Promoting digital skills can promote lifelong learning skills in my students, giving them greater self-reliance, transferability, and flexibility with current and emerging technologies.

- The increase in skill requirements for jobs across all degrees has been shocking. When I first applied for jobs, they simply asked for my work experience, now positions are asking how adept I am at working on documents and computer programs I've never heard of.
- Thinking skills needs to be more highlighted in the classroom, especially critical thinking. In this digital age, "fake news" and various social media can cause a large amount of uncertainty. Teaching kids the skills they need to be internet smart is required now.
- Agree that immediate feedback is important
