I was challenged by rewriting what was written on the board in cursive on my own on a piece of paper. If I had to be honest, I hated this lesson at first and this lesson really made me wanna pull my hair out because I had to restart so many times but I eventually gotten the hang of it. She does not take 🤬 (sorry for the cuss word lol). When she saw something was wrong on an essay, paper, or even when writing your name, she made you know that it was wrong and it had to be fixed. I use to be able to just slip away and not have to fix my work, but Mrs.Erdman wants us to know that we made a mistake and for a good reason too. English 12 with Mrs. Erdman really taught me how to push myself, and to learn how to actually write a paper or a poem. One of the things I always wanted to learn in high school was more about who I am mentally and with the poems and papers that Mrs. Erdman gave us I did just that. I learned more about myself just writing a poem than I did all of high school. Thank you Mrs. Erdman for always pushing us to do our best!

In this class I was challenged to write in cursive, which I can now say I can do, I was challenged to actually work on stuff that would help benefit my future, such as writing a professional email and creating a resume. If I had to be honest, this class was so much fun to take (when we actually went to school) but ever since quarantine, it’s been really stressful. This class completely changed my mind and it kind of sucks that it took 12 school years to actually have a good English class. It also sucks that we didn't properly get to finish the class. I am happy though that this was the last class I had to sit through because if I had a choice out of all of my past English classes it would definitely be this one. If you have a great teacher who is willing to work with you throughout your course you'll do fine. Writing structure and all the other things that came with it were just hard for me to understand. Not only did I get a better understanding of those thing I also expanded my vocabulary due to the little contract thingy we had to sign and I also became decent at cursive finally.
