Hello I would like to know how we can improve how we record and communicate to staff. I see on the bottom of emails that pronouns are identified. Where is this information for when formal communication is being created to send to staff. eg how do we address letters etc.

I would like to see more corporate guidance and information when there are changes in legislation/rules/improvements to IT systems. Admin cover such a wide change of areas within the Trust from sickness absence, healthroster, payroll etc. I would welcome information that could impact admin tasks. Even if it does not impact our tasks gives us a better understanding of why changes are taken place e.g. the recent decision to identify separately the annual leave and bank holiday leave. There is not an issue with this but it would be nice to understand the rationale around change.

We don't do our work for recognition or awards, but it is nice to get a 'pat on the back' every now and then. Just joined this Trust, after leaving a Trust which took the clerical staff 'for granted' and awards were geared towards clinical staff.

As stated above to I do believe that received admin awards would give a big boost in moral for admin staff. It's a good opportunity to recognise the work we do and challenges we do have to face within our roles. Although we do have recognition during monthly staff meetings it would be a really nice idea to have this across all areas and bases as a collective.
