Provides:
Highly activated, engaged, resourceful kinds of learning and literacy that young people are gaining with games and online activity.

Negative Aspects of Connected Learning
Leads to:
A decline in social norms and standards. No meaningful communication. Over-reliance on texting and social media. Multitasking and distractibility causing stress and loss of focus.

Risks:
Risks go hand in hand with opportunities in online participation.
