We had specials teachers and our gifted team help proctor small groups so that every student received the same accomodations they will receive on GMAS. Our 3rd grade team had their students take the mock assessment in a google form so the students had practice on the computer. We then met with the fabulous Pat Brasfield and she facilitated a common grading of a sample writing at each grade level. The conversations we had about the rubrics and what we expect from students were great! The teachers then took what they gathered from our common grading PLC to grade the rest of their class writing.
