What i learned from this paragraph was that turtles are dying by fisherman and other causes before they come back to the beach to lay eggs and get tagged. A husband and wife Nev and Bev are turtle protectors. They have been doing it for 40 years and there 61 and 64. They are paid by the goverment to help turtles. Dr. Col Limpus taught them how to protect turtles. They even eaten watched turtles for new years and Christmas. It is important to protect animals to repopulate so they dont get extinct. If i really like an animal i might help them if i have time.

This article talks about a couple Nev and Bev who monitor loggerhead turtles. This couple has monitored them for the past 40 years. Every year about 100 turtles are tagged but ever year more come. The population isn't increasing because of fisherman's hooks and nets that is the main reason why they have to be monitored, They also have to be monitored because of animals taking the eggs. But Nev and Bev have been doing a pretty god job watching over the turtles they even watched them on christmas and new year's eve.
It is important ton repopulate animals because animals shouldn't be killed for no reason. They should be protected so they are able to repopulate and so they are not killed.

They tag the turtles they see and see how many turtles come back to shore. They say that not as many turtles are coming back to shore because people might fish them up or something in the ocean is killing them. They're collecting the data now to see how many turtles return to sea and the data they collected will go to Dr. Col Limpus.

It is important to monitor and assist animals to repopulate because sometimes you won't know what's decreasing the population of the animals. So it's important to monitor or assist them and help their population to grow back instead of letting their population decrease and let them become extinct.

Many of the turtles that come up on the ocean they usually tag the along with measuring their arms. they usually tag the turtles to see how many turtles return to their birth place on the beach. It is rare to find turtles who havent been tagged. They now have been starting to track down what has been causing less turtles to come back to shore, and have reported the information back to Dr. Cole Limpus. They now say most turtles are not coming back because of fishing. Many turtles have been found with fishing hooks or other fishing things like lines.

Its important to monitor and assist the animals because it could help them repopulate because with our help theres a possibility there population could decrease.

Every year about 100 turtles are tagged every year but there should be more turtles coming ashore every year.
